Reporting to: Development & Technology Manager The role: Lead Software Engineer As part of their development team, you will take ownership of the company’s portfolio of customer facing software and production support tools. With a straightforward, common sense, can-do attitude you will write robust, well tested, and comprehensively documented code. You will be expected to use your experience to select the most appropriate technologies, architectures and techniques when developing new software. Contributing to continuous improvement by championing and driving the introduction of new technologies and processes wherever you would see a benefit. Key Skills and Experiences:
Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar. Industry experience. C# (.NET 7) GUI Frameworks (WPF, Avalonia, ReactiveUI) Modern C++
Full development lifecycle
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with Jira Cloud, Bitbucket and building CI/CD Pipelines Python Rust MQTT
Location : Dinnington, Sheffield, UK. Office Based.
Hours : Monday to Friday, 08.30am to 05.30pm. 40 hours pw can be of the following 08:00 - 16:30, 8:30 - 17:00 or 9 - 17:30. Half hour for lunch.
Salary Up to £60,000 pa depending on ability Also includes benefit package
