Position: Lead Shift Engineer

Location: Northampton

Shift Pattern: Continental Shift

Salary: �43,000 per annum

• Shift Allowance: �3,500 per annum


• Total Compensation: �46,500 per annum


• Additional Pay: Valid LV Certification - extra �1,000, Valid HV Certification - extra �3,000

Job Description:

• We are looking for a Lead Shift Engineer with a strong background in electrical maintenance, specifically in high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems. The role involves both reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPMs), with a significant focus on LV work.

Key Responsibilities�

• Lead and manage shift operations to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.


• Perform reactive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues promptly.


• Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPMs) to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical systems.


• Oversee a variety of LV maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards.


• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on shift performance.


• Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.


• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, with significant expertise in HV and LV systems.


• Relevant electrical qualifications.


• Valid LV certification (additional
  �1,000).


• Valid HV certification (additional
  �3,000).


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and lead a team.


• Experience with reactive maintenance and PPMs.
