We are seeking an experienced Scrub Practitioner with extensive knowledge to fill the position of Lead Theatre Practitioner at a leading Private Hospital based in Central London
This role offers a competitive annual salary of �50,000 - �55,000, along with the opportunity to work in a prestigious clinic renowned for its excellence in musculoskeletal care. You'll also be part of a team that's committed to advancing the science of medicine and enhancing patient experience.
As the Lead Theatre Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Spinal speciality and ensuring that the provision of nursing care and maintaining high clinical standards is met.
  • Participating in the advanced planning of all operating lists to ensure appropriate staff skills and equipment is available.
  • Utilising resources effectively using evidence-based best practice.
  • Contributing to the effective budget management of a departmental clinical area.
  • Assisting the Operating Rooms Manager in the business planning process, identifying specific issues.
  • Communicating with other wards and departments to ensure smooth running of lists.

The ideal candidate for the Lead Theatre Practitioner role should have:

  • Current NMC registration in adult or general nursing or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
  • Significant and Recognized post graduate theatre/anaesthetic qualification or relevant experience.
  • In-depth experience and knowledge within the perioperative environment.
  • Excellent personal and communication skills.
  • Good facilitation, presentation, teaching and assessing skills.
  • Ability to critically analyse research and evidence-based practice.
