Lead SatCom Engineer

Join a team of space and mobile communications experts!
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our clients team and help them develop the next generation of 5G and 6G space communications systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 3GPP standards, mobile networks, and radio propagation. They will also have experience with systems engineering, modelling, and real-time software development.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Defining and developing 5G and 6G space communications systems
Leading technology development projects
Working with partners to implement and test new systems
Contributing to the 3GPP standards process
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the whole 5G architecture (RAN, Edge, network, core)
Technical expertise in radio/RAN/air interface
Detailed knowledge of at least one of the 5G use cases (eMBB, mMTC, URLLC)
Familiarity with the 3GPP organization processes and roadmaps
Ability to lead technology developments of models, real-time software or hardware
Understanding of satcom
UK National or ability to be security cleared
