Job DescriptionThe JobWorking as a Head of QA your job will be insource the QA function, establishing and fortifying the global quality standards for a rapidly grown fintech platform used by institutional investors. You will recruit and build a QA team and ensure that quality assurance is baked into all developmentsSpecifically you will • Establish clear metrics for release signoff, ensuring transparency and efficiency.• Maintain meticulous traceability of test results for audit compliance.• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess release impacts and plan tests.• Champion transparency by communicating QA activities and controls to stakeholders.• Facilitate team empowerment to uphold QA infrastructure and tool relevance.• Streamline onboarding processes for new team members.• Ensure access to cutting-edge testing tools for sustained quality control.About youYou will be a QA expert and either in a Head of QA role or Lead QA role looking to take the step up. Ideally you will have experience setting up a QA function from scratch within financial services.Any experience working in a growing fintech, or in crypto or in Blockchain would be hugely beneficial.You will be an excellent communicator who can work collaboratively, possess solid leadership qualities and can cope with a dynamic role.The companyThis is a super successful fintech business that have create their own niche, backed by a large international bank they are set to expand exponentially in the coming year or two.You will be part of a business who have a collaborative, first-class work force who work at pace and achieve excellence.Why would you work here:This is a job that have very few requirements other than turning the strategy of insourcing the QA function into a high performing QA function, you can ultimately make this job your dream job, you will have full autonomy and have a huge impact on the engineering department, their customers and their ultimate success.SalarySix figure salary is possible and we are negotiable for the right person with the right skills.
