An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a supportive and positive team in an Secondary School. The school are seeking to employ a learning support assistant who will support the learning needs of students who require assistance in understanding the curriculum.
It is important for the school that they meet an Assistant with a passion to support and will inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve beyond their expected potential.
LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT, WATFORD
Location - Watford, Northwest London
Position- Teaching/learning support Assistant - No previous experience required
Start date - Januaray 2024
Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
Contract type - Temporary with the view to go permanent after
Full time/part time - FULL TIME ONLY
Minimum rate of pay £85 per day
Hours - 8am - 3:30 pm (full day)
TEACHING/LEARNING ASSISTANTS DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Work with 5 - 6 students who require additional support - EAL and SEN
Supporting the class teacher in lessons
Run your intervention sessions and booster groups with pupils that need it the most.
Be involved in running extracurricular activities
Writing reports and feeding back to teachers, SENCO, external agencies and parents
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
NO previous education experience is required to apply

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
