Lead Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Lead Planner in St Albans. Our client are a international construction and engineering companyRole:The successful candidate will support lead the programme and planning management for the team in the preconstruction and construction phases.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop regular reports to feedback on progress and performance on a weekly and monthly basisLead the development of the baseline contract programme, covering all aspects of design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handoverResponsible for developing a 4D graphical model where required or 2D phasing plansEngaging with the supply chain to develop the project programmeLead and coordinate with others in the duties under planning and programme management in the preconstruction processEssential Requirements:Successful working track record of working with clients, contractors and other stakeholders on live construction projectsExtensive knowledge of UK and EU legal framework, in particular contract managementAdvanced Primavera P6 Training Management costs and resourcesAdvanced contract awareness, understanding JCT and NEC forms of contractDesirable:Membership of relevant professional bodyExperience managing Planning teamsFor further information on this fantastic opportunity contact Sam Blair at Advance TRSAdvance TRS is a niche recruitment consultancy specialising in the provision of highly skilled technical professionals for the built environment.
