This role will support the Clinical Pharmacy service within ESHT, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely and be supported by both the Lead Divisional Pharmacist for Medicine and the newly created Medicines Value Programme Lead Pharmacist, in further developing this role.The Medicines Value Programme is a new and ambitious project that is designed to provide enhanced medicines optimisation within the specialisms with a commitment from the Trust to develop exciting, advanced pharmacist practitioner roles. These roles are designed to support practitioners who wish to develop a portfolio of practice for credentialling against advanced and consultant level frameworks. We are looking for a forward thinking and motivated pharmacist who is looking to take a step into leading on pharmacy projects and developing a scope of practice within one or more of the specialist medicine clinical specialities at ESHT. These are Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Neurology, and Dermatology.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be involved in providing support to Specialist Medicine areas within the Medicine Division. You will work closely with clinicians, senior nurses, and managers within the Division, and you will also provide support and input into the Clinical Pharmacy Service at Conquest by helping to provide support for leadership supervision and developing colleagues and trainees. As such we are seeking a patient focused pharmacist aiming to build on established clinical skills who will work closely with clinicians in providing a high-quality service to patients within ESHT.
