Lead Mobile Test Engineer

It’s an exciting time to join the Digital team at an award-winning company, AXA Health, as we are in the early stages of a Digital Transformation that will redefine our business model and the capabilities that power it.  We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Test Engineer to join our Agile delivery team to lead the testing of our next generation of mobile applications that will deliver new digital propositions and services to our customers. As Lead Mobile Test Engineer, you’ll learn about new technologies and be able to influence the organisation to make the right choices. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, such as part-time or condensed hours, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.What you’ll be doing: Working as part of a high performing, multi-disciplined, Agile delivery team focusing on manual and automated testing. Leading and contributing to the testing and continuous delivery of value within our mobile application. Coaching and mentoring with some line management of other members of the mobile test engineering team. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team and across the Digital and Data department.  Utilising your strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and key stakeholders at all levels. Your ProfileWhat we’re looking for: Expert knowledge of testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android. Extensive understanding of modern JavaScript and Typescript. Experience with using Appium (or similar). Familiarity with native build tools & emulators. Experience of using, managing and executing performance testing. A positive mindset and continuous-learning attitude with a passion to stay up to date with changes in the mobile testing ecosystem and beyond. Experience with supporting/managing releases. Familiarity with Git and branch management. About AXAWith a presence in over 60 countries, and 165,000 employees serving the needs of 107 million customers, AXA is big.But never too big to care for every single person who works here.  So when you join us, we promise to put our collective might behind you and your career.You’ll work in an open and supportive environment where you’ll be developed, challenged and encouraged to move around to achieve even bigger and better things – nationally and internationally.
