Positioned at the forefront of the financial services industry, LHV Bank provides cutting-edge digital banking solutions. This pivotal role is not just about leading the development of mobile applications; it's about pioneering a digital banking revolution. Based in the UK, this hybrid position offers the flexibility of working from London with a focus on creating seamless, secure, and superior mobile banking experiences for our customers.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the mobile development team, driving the creation of high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.Spearhead the end-to-end development lifecycle for mobile applications, from initial concept through to deployment, ensuring alignment with LHV Bank's strategic objectives.Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to deliver innovative features and enhancements that meet user needs and exceed expectations.Champion the use of AWS cloud technologies to build scalable, secure, and resilient mobile applications.Implement best practices in mobile app development, ensuring the team adheres to high standards of code quality, performance, and usability.Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in mobile technology, advocating for the adoption of new tools and methodologies to keep LHV Bank at the cutting edge.Required Skills:Demonstrable experience in leading mobile development projects, with a portfolio that showcases successful iOS or Android apps.Expert knowledge of Swift (for iOS) or Kotlin/Java (for Android), with a solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.Proficiency in leveraging AWS cloud services to enhance mobile app functionality and performance.A strong grasp of mobile UX/UI design principles and the ability to work closely with design teams to bring visionary concepts to life.Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices, as well as familiarity with agile development methodologies.Excellent leadership and team management skills, coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate others.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a user-centered approach to mobile app development.At LHV Bank, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team that values innovation, efficiency, and making a positive impact. If we transfer the data we collect from you to organisations outside of the EEA, we ensure that your data is protected as follows:- The European Commission has determined that the country offers an adequate level of data protection; or- We have agreed to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses on data protection with the relevant organisation.How long do we store your Personal Data for?If you are unsuccessful, but agree that we can keep your Personal Data for other job openings, we retain your Personal Data for 2 years after we close the hiring process. If you are unsuccessful and do not agree for us to retain your data for future hirings, then we will keep your Personal Data for up to 2 years after we close the hiring process. The reason for keeping your Personal Data for that long is to protect ourselves in potential legal proceedings and the storage period reflects the statute of limitations for such matters.If you are a successful candidate, we may preserve your Personal Data for longer, following the time limits for the storing of Personal Data established in various legislation and the expiration times of potential claims.Your rightsYou have a right to:- Obtain information on whether LHV is processing your Personal Data and access the Personal Data we hold about you (make a data subject access request)- Ask for a copy of your Personal Data in a portable (machine-readable) format or make us send it to someone else.
