Are you a fully UK qualified and experienced SEN Maths Teacher who is searching for a new and exciting challenge in a highly rewarding environment?
An Outstanding Medical PRU in the London borough of Wandsworth are looking to recruit a enthusiastic and dynamic SEN Lead Maths Teacher for a September start, or sooner if available, on a permanent contract.
You will be required to plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate learning for children and young people who are inpatients, either in hospital, or are too unwell to attend school. You will be supporting students who present a range of educational needs and abilities, including those with AEN and very high levels of achievement. Therefore, excellent subject knowledge and a love of your subject is essential.
As a Lead SEN Maths Teacher, you will be teaching in the hospital classrooms, and 1:1 within the community. The provision is well-resourced, and maintains a standard of highly qualified and innovative teachers and support staff. You will also work in partnership with the multidisciplinary team within the hospital. You must be flexible, and able to work in a challenging, yet extremely rewarding, supportive and creative environment.
