We use a strength-based approach to work with people to identify what support they require and how we can address them together or / and in collaboration with others e.g. landlords, Department of Work and pension or mental health services.We can support people for the duration of their tenancy, or we can provide short term interventions. We can provide resettlement support when a tenancy commences, and we can equip people with the skills to manage their home and goals independently or when they are move on ready and require minimal support.We are looking for a Lead Managerto join the Tenancy Sustainment Team Private Rented Sector (TST PRS) team.You will:Provide a flexible and responsive service to people who have just entered private rented sector accommodation after a period of homelessness.Manage a team of support workers to deliver a high quality, dynamic and person centred service.Be an inspiring and present leader, with great management skills.Foster a culture of high performance continually striving to improve your service.Work in partnership with a range of our external partners, including: day centres, referral agencies, local authorities, GLA and landlords.Produce good quality reports, records, evaluation and impact analyse to scrutinise and improve performance in this area.To succeed as the Lead Manager, you will have:A desire to support people to positively move on from homelessness.Excellent organising, attention to detail and prioritising skills and be able to independently manage your workload skillsExperience of developing effective working relationships, with strong people skills, able to listen to and influence others.Inspiring and proficient line management experience of people delivering a support or similar service.Experience of mitigated risk and ensuring work is delivered effectively and safely.We are listed in the top 100 UK Best Workplaces 2023 in the UK.
