With over 4,500 clients and 400 servers under its care, this is a firm that has experienced remarkable growth in recent years and are now seeking a Lead Linux System Administrator to become a vital part of their team.In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the build, scale and maintenance of Linux server stability during high uptime and ensuring top-notch service levels. Your responsibilities extend to leading system design decisions, overseeing technical implementations, and providing mentorship to junior team members. Additionally, you will collaborate often with stakeholders to understand project requirements and carry it out to meet these needs. You will also have the autonomy to make an impact across various aspects of the business, including the technical decisions that you feel will truly make a difference.As the resident Linux expert, you will be the person at which the buck stops with comfort in being that final point of escalation and exhibit knowledge with automation, Ceph, cPanel and Proxmox.
