Lead Java Web Developer | London | up to £80,000 Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are looking for an experienced and ambitious customer facing Lead Java Developer to join our clients’ inspiring and talented team in their London head office. As the Lead Java Web Developer you will be designing and implementing robust and scalable full-stack solutions, and working closely with end-clients and senior management. The role offers opportunities to help our client develop new standards and DevOps practices as well as mentoring and leading developer teams. If you have significant agency or consultancy experience working on client-driven, fast-paced and high-profile web projects, whilst designing and implementing large-scale, high-traffic full-stack solutions for well-established and high-profile brands : then this role should be for you! THE TECHNICAL STUFF: Developers who can manage the full project life cycle, from conception through roll-out, to production deployment and support will be of interest. Full-stack web development, ideally with some App development experience is important; as is Java SE, version 8 to 11, including multi-threading & JVM performance monitoring and tuning. Developers with exposure to the Spring Framework ecosystem, with focus on Spring Boot, Core, Web and SQL, relational databases, especially SQL Server and MySql, including advanced SQL, transaction handling and performance tuning will be sought after. Any experience around modularisation, white label solutions, SaaS and MicroServices, and an ability to design and implement reusable frameworks is important. Test frameworks and methodologies, including JUnit, Selenium, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, AWS, Jenkins, Dockers & Monitoring is a key part of this role. Developers who can design and implement scalable, secure and robust web solutions which cater for high traffic and high availability, using systems documentation (architecture, design, APIs), release management, change control and live deployments, including experience of rolling out solutions to millions of active users should APPLY TODAY. Frontend integration, including Thymeleaf/JSP, Angular, HTML5/CSS3/Sass skills are also an integral part of this role. NoSql experience is a bonus.
