Lead Clinical Pharmacist

A state-of-the-art London hospital currently has an exciting Lead Clinical Pharmacist vacancy for an experienced Pharmacist to lead & develop an already fantastic team.



The Lead Clinical Pharmacist will play an incremental role in providing clinical services, ensuring the highest level of care is provided to patients and that the department is moving in the right direction.

As Lead Clinical Pharmacist you will lead, plan, organise and deliver a specialist clinical pharmacy service within the agreed standard of pharmaceutical care for the identified patient population, safely, effectively and within the defined limits of responsibility, resources, and activity.



Applicants for this Lead Clinical Pharmacist position should meet the following criteria:




  • Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC

  • Hold a master’s degree in pharmacy or an equivalent qualification with postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy at diploma level pr equivalent qualification gained or in progress

  • Proven track record of pharmaceutical experience, 2 years within a clinical pharmacy role within a hospital setting

  • Experience in the development of policies, procedures and guidelines

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Well organised, motivated and patient-focused
