This lead generation role is a sales role is all aboutsell software and talking to supply chain managers and quality managers within large companies who do a huge amount of purchasing. The solution allows them to keep a single view of the supply chain and how that will effect the ongoing production, and manufacturing of whatever they do. (supply chain is getting the right parts to the production line)
You will get leads from exhibition trade groups and from the website, you will convert them into prospects and as your role progresses you might start to deliver the software demonstration.
You will need to have worked in software or IT sales as a lead development Executive, SDR or telesales.
The deals are £10K to £50K in annual Saas revenue on 3 year deals.
You get commission based on the leads you generate.
The company has 9 people in the UK, 20 people globally, office near Hemel, which you might need to visit once every few months. There may be travel to exhibitions and trade shows when necessary.
You will need a sales background that includes:
Lead generation
Application software
Selling a solution that involves Professional Service
Any experience of the following would be beneficial:
Manufacturing
Supply chain
ERP
SaaS license sales
You will need to be talk to supply chain managers understand the benefits of a single view of their purchasing and delivery that still offers full integration to ERP.
