Towerview Care provide residential nursing care to ladies and gentlemen of working and older age who have mental health and complex challenging care needs. Now is an exciting time to join us as we are developing multi-disciplinary teams to enable person centred holistic care.JOB TITLE:Lead for Business Development and Marketing REPORTINGTO:Director of Operational Services HOURS:37.5 Hours per week (flexibleacross7days as required)TRAVEL: This role will require travel within the Midlands/ North West/ South Yorkshire/ Nottinghamshire/Staffordshire.Mayincludeeveningsand weekends withtimeaway from home and Senior On Call Support.PAY:£55k -60kMileage at 45p per mile for first 10,000 miles from base of work CPD support and fundingAnnual renewal of clinical registration funded25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays pro rata Flexible workingFree DBSJOB PURPOSE:Todevelop and update a clear marketing strategy for the organisation incorporating clear plans to achieve Key Performance Indicators against occupancy To establish individual care home marketing plans taking into account local market forces and competitors To maintain close working relationships with the Registered Managers and Matron ensuring effective and efficient processes are in place for achieving KPI’s for referrals, assessments and admissions timescales To work with the Project Management Office where applicable in project managing the planning, development, transition and delivery of new businessTo establish and maintain a Client Relationship Management System To establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, to include, relatives, commissioners, social workers, ICB leads and other key personnel To ensure admissions and discharges are forecasted and placed on to the electronic systemTo identify key risks that may prevent timely referrals and admissions across all homes MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:To drive growth and deliver targetsTo contribute to the writing of tenders andto represent the organisation at tender interviews.To review daily the relevant Dynamic Purchasing Systems and similar To maintain daily contact with Brokerage teams To ensure that data relatingto monthly sales targets and KPl's are collated andreported accurately to SMT Topromote theworkof TowerviewCare and the brand via social media, conferences, and forums. To identify local and national awards and work with Department Leads for preparing and submitting the information Todevelop own knowledge and practice relative to continuous service growth, marketing and improvementKEYTASKS:Business DevelopmentUndertake regular on site reviews and develop plans with RM’s to minimise voids.Carryout research and development for new service innovations/initiatives.Manage the development of new opportunities in a professional manner in line with the company's image, ethos and growth targets.Write formal proposals in response to invitations to tender, mini-tender procurement opportunities, spot contracts and individual budget proposals and awards.Develop targeted development plans in conjunction with operational colleagues for all areasof responsibilityandupdatequarterly.Gather back ground information covering customer activity and competitor intelligence for dissemination to the wider team.Make recommendations for sales and marketing activities and materials to the GroupKEY TASKS: Service DeliveryProgress business opportunities from initial interest through to proposal and delivery.Provide appropriate mentorship of operational staff within new procurement areas, ensuring introductions are made, and relationships developed with external partners.To work effectively with internal colleagues and agencies to prepare project implementation plans for new, larger service developments.Discuss and agreeing the acceptance of contracts for support provisions through defined business sign-off processes.Maintain high standards of delivery by aligning all activities to both external regulations and internal policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Security standards. To provide an excellent experience for all TowerviewCare current and prospective customers.Ensure new services are founded on person centered principles and practices, andare based on assessed needs, desired user outcomes, best practice, and contractual/ agreement specifications.KEY TASKS: FinancialPlanningTo generate forecasts of new business throughout the financial year and report on activity to attain these on a monthly basis to the Director of Operations.To engage with operational colleagues to proactively manage service voids Ensure that all services developed are compliant to the associated contract/specification.Ensure contracts and agreements are in place for all new admissions .Encourage innovation ,reliability, quality, and value for money during the process of service development as a foundation for continuous improvement.Produce monthly management reports regarding tendering, occupancy and fee earning data.Develop communication methods and systems to promote effective communication with external agencies and personnel, that positively impacts on generating new business, and improves the profile of the organization.Customer Satisfaction Surveys are completed annually (customer defined as: person in need of support, their representative, Commissioner, Social Worker, Care Manager)Ensuring a smooth transition of all new customers using Safe Move In protocols.Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders, maintaining consistent standards.Contributing to team performance through commitment, contribution and constructive two way feedback.Engaging and working with key stakeholders, maintaining an effective internal and external communication structure.Demonstrate and exemplify positive behaviours and attitudes and establish effective working relationships.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS Management experience and a proven track record of leading teams Minimum 3 years' experience of business development and setting up new service developmentAbility to balance a focus on growth and sustainability Communication skills across a range of personnel Organisational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and fulfil obligations generallyPerson centered approach to delivery of servicesEffective planning and project management skillsExcellent influencing and negotiating skillsAn ability to manage a complex work load across a geographicalareaMotivational skillsExcellent written skillsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Competent I.T skillsPresentation skillsFinance and budgeting skills relating to costing proposals and understanding basic accountsDesired 3 Years' experience of Managing within Mental Health and older adult sector.Proven track record of increasing occupancy Proven track record of marketingEQUAL OPPORTUNITIESTowerview Care is an equal opportunities employerMOBILITYThe Post Holder will be based within the care home.
