Job Title: Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bournemouth (Static Role)

Salary: �38,000 - �44,000 per annum

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's facilities maintenance team in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead electrical maintenance activities, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our client's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of work.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any maintenance-related concerns.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a facilities maintenance setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 18th Edition).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
