I'm looking for a Lead Engineer who has some Machine Learning and data engineering skills to lead a small team for a very promising ClimateTech start-up.

???? Salary: £100k + equity.
???? Location: Remote in the UK, but an ability to travel to London a couple of days a month would be ideal.

The company use AI and machine learning to help mitigate anthropogenic climate change. The founders have secured substantial Series A investment and are ready to build. The company are already showing very positive signs of success ????
The team currently consists of the two founders, a software engineering consultant, a mid-level Ruby Engineer and an ML research scientist.
You'll join as the Lead Engineer with scope to become the CTO if this is a route you see for yourself (if not, that's ok too!) ????
Here's what you need:
A senior level of experience as a full-stack software engineer with strong ML skills or an ML Engineer with software engineering skills
proficiency using Python
An ability to drive much of the overall architecture work
Be involved in data engineering work - ingestion pipelines, data processing
Experience in architecting and deploying software products in a startup or a scale-up environment
Willingness to learn enough Ruby on Rails so that you can communicate with the Software Engineers who are building the SaaS platform
Have experience in training, fine-tuning and deploying a variety of ML models, working alongside data scientists / ML research scientists
Have strong expertise in GCP or comparable cloud stacks
Nice to have - experience growing with a company - building and scaling teams, products and companies
