As a Lead Advisor Energy Storage, you will take a lead role in shaping and developing Pexapark’s Storage business together with a team of dedicated professional PPA Advisors, utilising and leveraging highly sophisticated pricing and analytics software for stand-alone and co-located storage projects. You will support the development of energy storage components to the core technology of Pexapark’s award-winning software products.
If you bring previous experience with storage projects, an understanding of the regulatory landscape for utility-scale storage in GB and ideally other EU markets and experience with complex business-oriented data models, we are looking forward to talking to you.How will you help:
Drive Pexapark’s strategy on the energy/battery storage side, and represent Pexapark at industry events Contribute to the origination of new leads and new markets for our battery storage advisory services in collaboration with the other advisory teams Lead and structure the Storage optimisation agreement negotiations day-to-day until the completion
Enable key players in the advisory team to move from a supporting role to a leading role in storage mandates Track and interpret the regulatory landscape for battery energy storage and flex products in cooperation with the Analysis team Advise Pexapark’s software product management and Quantitative team for storage & flex projects
What you’ll bring:
Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sense of ownership and a track record of delivering results
A solid understanding of the energy storage market in GB (and ideally other European markets)
Familiarity with the economics of energy storage co-located with renewables
Familiarity with energy storage optimisation techniques related to wholesale and ancillary services energy markets
General understanding of financial contracts associated with utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects
Strong project management skills, outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to quickly reduce complex information into actionable frameworks, and connect at all levels with the clients
