As the Lead Data & AI Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in gathering, organising, and analysing statistical data to empower colleagues and clients with insightful reports for informed decision-making. Additionally, you'll spearhead the implementation of AI tools across our organisation. Your responsibilities will include establishing and leading a new "Data & AI Centre of Excellence (CoE)" to educate and support end-users in utilising data analytics, visualisation tools, and AI/GPT-focused platforms.
Moreover, you'll take the helm of the Data & AI Research & Development stream, identifying novel tools for diverse use cases and conducting competitor analysis to maintain our competitive edge. Your overarching objective will be to oversee both Data and AI systems, ensuring optimal performance and integration into our IT infrastructure.
Initially, you'll be responsible for the technical aspects of our data warehouse, including developing process models and ensuring data accuracy and quality. You'll also configure and deploy AI/GPT tools like MS CoPilot/ChatGPT, providing training and support to our user base.
What you'll be doing
Leading stakeholders in utilising Data & AI toolsets via a Center of Excellence Model
Aligning the Data & AI Roadmap with business requirements and strategic goals
Conducting competitor analysis to maintain our competitive advantage
Developing and monitoring data warehouse process models primarily using MS Azure Technologies
Creating, enforcing, and monitoring new Data and AI focused policies
Gathering and visualising data to facilitate informed decision-making
Contributing to the development of the firm's AI Strategy, Roadmap, and Toolset
Participating in the IT Management Team to drive transformative change
Managing Data & AI services and preparing management reports
Overseeing IT suppliers, contracts, licenses, and SLAs
Developing and managing annual IT budgets
Identifying and mitigating operational risk
About you:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Data Warehouse Management or a similar role
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication abilities
Proficiency in problem-solving
Experience with MS Azure Data Technologies (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, PowerBI, OneLake, Purview)
Desired Qualifications:
Relevant Professional Certifications
Experience with AI-based tools
Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience managing supplier contracts and IT budgets
Knowledge of data protection and relevant legislation (e.g., GDPR)
