Join us as a Lead Credit Modelling Data AnalystWe’re looking for a lead business analyst with a specialisation in credit risk modelling data, to join a cutting-edge team that puts the customer at the heart of everything it doesYou’ll be leading a team of highly technically skilled business analysts and process controllersAn exciting opportunity to be part of a team at the forefront of modernising the bank’s credit risk data capabilityWhat you'll doAs a Lead Credit Modelling Data Analyst, you'll be developing and maintaining structured processes which analyse business risk profiles and decisions with reference to regulatory and risk policy requirements.Day-to-day, you’ll also be:Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis and preparing insightful advice for business considerationCarrying out governance and control activities including deliverables tracking, reviewing or preparing meeting minutes, reporting on process and control environment and managing control remediation activitiesLeading the delivery of regulatory-compliant data for credit modellingDelivering change that enhances the efficiency or effectiveness of Credit Insight and Analytics analytical outputThe skills you'll needTo succeed in this role, you’ll bring banking or financial services experience, along with experience of risk systems, methodologies and processes in a retail or wholesale bank environment. You’ll also be educated to degree level in a numerate discipline with experience in data driven analysis.Additionally, you'll demonstrate:A track record of delivery across multiple businesses, involving complex stakeholder, process and technology issuesBusiness analysis skills with a specialism in data management including data quality, metadata management, data modelling and analysis along with data governanceGood interpersonal and project management skillsKnowledge of one or more analytical platforms, such as SAS or PythonThe ability to work as part of a team, share ideas and learn from othersAn excellent grasp of the English language, with experience preparing documents to a regulatory standardExtensive knowledge of credit modelling data within the retail banking domain
