As a lead consultant in our Defence Solution Design Authority practice,you will be working as a trusted industry partner to our defence customer andcross-functionally supporting internal business units (Sales, Business, Technology,Security and Operations), key stakeholders and externally facing third partytechnology providers as part of and reporting into the practice manager.You will work with internal key stakeholders, the customer, and its subsidiarydepartments to conceptualise their strategic vision, capture requirements; todefine and create innovative fit for purpose digital solutions meeting their digitalstrategy and transform the way they can do business.Underpinned by using robust ICT framework architecture, security principles,methodologies, industry best practices, and customer compliance polices. As asolution architect you will be providing expert solution architecture expertise andownership throughout all stages of the solutions design engagement life cycle.You will be part of an industry leading Solution Design Authority team workingclosely with other architects, designers, technology experts, business managersand business analysts. Where you will bring your expertise and diverse experienceto each challenge ensuring successful solution delivery across a vast variation inhighly sensitive and unique opportunities and projectWhat you’ll be doing• Undertake installation site surveys, inspections, and vulnerability assessments at appropriate stages, certifying compliance or non-conformance.• Identify, document, and escalate risk or non-conformance to the project owner and provide resolution advice.• Produce vulnerability assessment documentation.Skills You'll NeedKey skills & experience:• Working knowledge and hands on experience of Penetration Testing.• Working knowledge and hands on experience of techniques and tools in conducting vulnerability scanning and assessments (such as Nessus, Nmap, Nipper)• Working understanding and hands on experience of Information Communication Technologies in at least Two of the following:• Enterprise network security and boundary protection• Preferably have either of the following professional training and/or accreditations • Certified Penetration Testing Professional (C|PENT) • Offensive Security Certified Professional (PEN-100 & PEN-200) • CREST Registered Penetration tester.Benefits of working for BT include:• Competitive salary • 10% on target bonus• BT Pension scheme, minimum 5% Employee contribution, BT contribution 10%• 25 days annual leave (not including bank holidays), increasing with service• Huge range of flexible benefits including cycle to work, healthcare, season ticket loan• World-class training and development opportunities• Option to join BT Shares Saving schemes.• Discounted broadband, mobile and TV packages• Access to 100’s of retail discounts including the BT shopWith over 175 years of heritage, BT is now the flagship business brand of BT Group.
