Lead Buyer

An experienced Lead Buyer required to join an established manufacturing company based in Nottinghamshire.As Lead Buyer you will develop and pursue purchasing opportunities & negotiate contracts.Duties:Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditionsPrepare and issue purchase orders and agreementsMonitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concernsAnalyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategiesTo positively impact the company's KPI's with particular focus on EBITTo establish and support long term supplier relationships to maximise supply chain effectivenessKey Skills :Strong Team playerGood knowledge of all MS office applications, specifically excel to an advanced level.Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.Confident and well organisedProactive and able to multitask.Drive and determination to succeed.Strong and confident communication and customer liaison skills.Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.Excellent time management skills, methodical worker with high level attention to details.Salary £40kWorking Monday - Thursday 7.00- 16.00 & Fri (phone number removed)Onsite parking availablePlease call (phone number removed) for further information asking for Natalie or click to apply
