The Job
Senior/Lead Engineer - Node.js
Joining at an early stage you will play a pivotal role and benefit from helping shape the foundations. Working with a modern technical environment you will be using your experience you will be working closely with the Head of Engineering and COO to build and grow this platform. There will be lots of room for Greenfield Software Development.
You will use: node.js, Kafka, AWS, PostgreSQL and more
About You
With proven experience as a Senior/Lead Engineer you will bring your experience with Node.js and scalable systems to build and grow this platform. You should be comfortable with cloud environments and good experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL. Working closely with the Head of Engineering you should be comfortable taking on senior responsibilities and working with autonomy. Here are a few points that would be great to see (not all are essential):
Web Application with Node.js
Experience building highly available systems
Kafka experience
Databases: PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB & NoSQL Databases
At least one major cloud platform (AWS Preferred)

Salary
Starting salary of up to £110,000 plus options and benefits
