Job Description
Due to continued growth, I’m looking for a Lead Author to join a Major Engineering Group.
My client is looking for a Lead Author with significant experience and understanding of complex rail infrastructure.
As Lead Author you will be joining an established team with low attrition, and a culture where personal development is encouraged.
To be a successful applicant you should be able to work autonomously and be able to demonstrate experience actively writing, not just managing an authoring process.
Role Requirements
Experience of successfully delivering quality element of bids, from PQQ through to ITT stage and lessons learnt.
Ability to work collaboratively using subject matter experts for responses
Ideally have knowledge of the Shipley bid process, or structured bid processes
Comfortable communicating at all levels and in all forums, from one-to-ones to group workshops.
Must be customer centric, understanding, anticipating and meeting customer needs
