The Group reported in 2022 global revenues of €22 billion. Our OfferAs we enter a stage of rapid growth, we have a number of exciting new opportunities within our Automotive consulting team and are looking for a Body Electronics Lead Architect.As a Body Electronics Lead/Principal Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing the distributed functions within the Body Electronics Domain. We are a people-led company focused around creating an exceptional business, and all employees have a high level of autonomy and a platform to make a real impact.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-level system and software architectures for distributed body electronics features.Design scalable, modular, and flexible software solutions that can adapt to evolving technology and customer requirements.Lead the day-to-day management of the Body Electronics Engineering team.Develop network management and diagnostics requirements.Achievement of objectives per project: deadlines, function, costs, quality, industrialization, design for manufacturing, mass etcEnsure compliance with automotive safety standards (such as ISO 26262) and cybersecurity requirements for in-vehicle systems.Achievement of maturity levels and deadlines according to quality gate for all projectsQualification, Skills and ExperienceDegree Qualified in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Knowledge of body systems – security, doors, HVAC, Wash/Wiper, lighting desirableProficiency in programming languages such as C/C+ and experience with embedded software development would be advantageous Good Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, aimed at the development of models for Body control Module (BCM)Good knowledge of Automotive communication protocols like CAN, and LIN. (Ethernet Knowledge – Desirable).Knowledge of Vehicle Diagnostics would be advantageousMust have experience in Automotive requirement management which includes the understanding of component/System level requirements, derivation of “Design Verification Method” and “Design Verification Procedure”.Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.At Capgemini Engineering we value excellence, care, responsibility, dynamism and innovation.
