We are looking for Lead Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioners to join a Theatre team at a prestigious Private Hospital in London. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment and deliver high-quality patient care.

As a Lead Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Contributing to the development and evaluation of practice standards.
  • Mentoring unqualified support staff and pre-registration students.
  • Participating actively in the planning and delivery of perioperative care.
  • Ensuring all anaesthetic equipment is checked and ready before the start of the list.
  • Recognising the workload of colleagues and providing support when necessary.

The ideal candidate for the Lead Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner role should have:
  • Registration as a Nurse with a recognised postgraduate qualification.
  • A registered ODP with a cert HE/Diploma.
  • Significant post-registration skills in the anaesthetic area.
  • The ability to act as a preceptor to newly qualified staff.
  • The ability to monitor and care for sedated patients during procedures.
  • Knowledge of patient confidentiality.
