Leading Midlands Based Housing Association Requires a Landscape/Grounds Maintenance Foreman/ Quality Manager.

My client requires an experience and profession Landscape & Grounds Maintenance quality manager to work on a long running temporary contract. Work will be overseeing the quality of landscaping and grounds maintenance installations on new build social housing development sites across the West Midlands.

You will be responsible for ensuring landscaping works on new developments are delivered on time, to high standards and contract specification, and providing an overall point of contact to all stakeholders.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Birmingham and surrounding midlands regions

Hours: 8 hours per day 40 hours per week

Pay rate: £18 - £20 per hour Paid Weekly

Duration: On going long running temporary contract

Key Tasks:

Pre-planning and pre site review input into new development scheme design and maintenance regime
Collaborate with new business team and delivery team - providing timely advice and guidance and working to find solutions
Review site surveys and planting plans and attend pre-start site meetings.
Consider site design plans to ensure the horticultural elements can be delivered as prescribed.
Use plant and general horticultural knowledge to identify problems, devise solutions and provide expert guidance to ensure right first-time delivery.
Monitor the scheme during defect period (including gardens on S106 schemes and stock plot purchases).
Quote for new works and variations.
Work with Project Manager to ensure the delivery of ecology, landscape and planting aftercare schemes.
Ensure the landscaping plans protect wildlife and supports our sustainability strategy, developing biodiversity improvement schemes.
Monitor and report on work-in-progress, escalating/reporting delays to the Project Manager where necessary.
Ensure the GIS system is kept up to date for all ground maintenance activities.Requirements:

Full UK Driving License
Ideally horticultural knoweldge
