Landscape Architect / Senior Landscape Architect

Farrer Huxley is an award-winning practice of landscape architects who enable relationships between people and nature to create distinctive, environmentally sensitive and inclusive places. We are looking for a Landscape Architect / Senior Landscape Architect with at least 3 years of experience, including the UK planning context, to join our team for a 6-month sabbatical cover (with the possibility that this could become a permanent position following the initial contract).
Our small and friendly team has a wide range of skills, from engagement and planting design through to environmental expertise and technical delivery. We work in a relaxed and close-knit environment where everyone is encouraged to have a creative voice and is supported as an individual.
Farrer Huxley is looking for a Landscape Architect/ Senior Landscape Architect with a minimum of 3 years’ experience who is:
comfortable in the day-to-day running of projects and managing/ coordinating with the project team
organised and able to lead on/ coordinate several projects
self-motivated and happy to collaborate with clients, stakeholders and/ or other consultants
confident in attending meetings and presenting work
experienced in producing planning reports and tender packages
familiar with engagement-led design, the UK planning system and working to RIBA stages
conversant with Adobe CC and AutoCad
knowledge/ experience of Revit would be beneficial
Farrer Huxley is based in London, as are the majority of our projects. Whilst we would prefer to work with a landscape architect who can attend site visits and in-person meetings where required, we are also happy to consider remote and flexible working arrangements.
