Job Description:
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Land Surveyor or Land Agent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in land surveying or land management, with the ability to handle a diverse range of projects. This role involves conducting land surveys, managing land and property portfolios, and providing expert advice to clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within the stunning landscape of the Scottish Borders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed land surveys using advanced surveying instruments and technology.
• Prepare topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys.
• Analyse survey data and generate accurate maps and reports.
• Manage land and property portfolios, including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
• Provide consultancy services on land use, development potential, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, planners, and construction teams.
• Ensure all work complies with local and national regulations.
• Maintain surveying equipment and manage data collection processes.
• Deliver clear and concise reports to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
• A degree in Land Surveying, Land Management, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Land Surveyor or Land Agent.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Scottish Borders.
