Summary



OXBO are partnering with a leading Solar & BESS IPP to hire a new Land Manager to originate new opportunities for Solar and Battery Projects in the UK. 



Responsibilities




  • Identifying and evaluating suitable land parcels and working with other team members in assessing the technical, environmental, and regulatory feasibility of the identified land parcels.

  • Securing Letter of Authority and Exclusivity Agreements, negotiating required land agreements: Heads of Terms, Option to Lease, Lease and easements with Landowners.

  • Co-ordinating with internal stakeholders as well as solicitors, land agents landowners, local communities, regulatory bodies and relevant authorities to address concerns relating to land and secure required consents to ensure successful project execution.

  • Conducting due diligence on potential land parcels, including working with the solicitors for title searches Collaborating with internal team members to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for land related activities.

  • Maintaining details of land opportunities, contracts, and associated documentation.

  • Staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and policy developments related to renewable energy and land management in the UK.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in real estate, land management, renewable energy, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of working knowledge and understanding of the UK land acquisition regulations, planning processes and permitting requirements.

  • Experience in land acquisition, land management, or real estate, preferably within the renewable energy sector in the UK.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to establish mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Familiarity with GIS mapping tools and software for site assessment preferred.
