Right now, due to our growth plans, we are looking for a Land Buyer, to join our growing Land Team on a permanent contract out of our offices in Coxheath, Kent.About The Role…As Chartway's Land Buyer, you will support the Land Managers and Land Director to acquire residential and mixed-use sites in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and Essex.You will be maintaining relationships with land agents and promoters to generate new opportunities for the group, then manage the end to end bid process for new sites, including briefing and managing internal teams.You'll be responsible for running appraisal scenarios on new pipleline sites, updating and managing the group land tracker and supporting the legal and compliance processes for site purchases i.e. drafting Board purchase packs, drafting and reviewing Heads of Terms, reading land purchase contracts, responding to enquiries.What you'll need…We want the best! Excellent IT and organisation skills, be organised, and have a sound understanding of the planning system & procedures, and a good knowledge of the regional area and associate markets.
