Laboratory Technician

SRG are delighted to be partnered with a global name in the aviation and space industry to assist with their search for a laboratory technician for their materials testing laboratory.

This role sits within the quality, health, safety & environmental team and is responsible for assisting in the manufacture of chemicals. as well as carrying out materials testing, and ensuring materials are compliant against internal and external requirements.

The Role

As laboratory technician you will be responsible for materials testing in accordance with SOPs and within assigned timelines, you will work to ensure the maintenance of laboratory equipment and tools. where relevant you will identify non-conforming materials and assist in root-cause analysis, and report findings to leadership team

The Right Person

You will have demonstrable experience working in a laboratory testing environment
Ideally you will have experience in any of the following techniques; thermal analysis, calorimetry, sample digestion & atomic emission spectroscopy
Demonstrable data analysis and interpretation skills
