Laboratory Technician

Lab Technician

Location: Bishops Stortford

Salary : DOE

Monday to Friday, 8.30am -5.00pm

The role: Preparation of samples for customer briefs.

• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and good laboratory practices


• To accurately dispense oils in a clean and safe manner to finished products, meeting the deadlines required from the project initiator, salesperson, perfumer or Laboratory Manager.


• To maintain the fragrance library in a neat & tidy manner in order that contamination of fragrance oils can be prevented.


• To transfer finished samples to agreed deadlines to project initiator according to quality guidelines.


• To liaise with the project initiators, perfumers or Laboratory Manager any issues that may delay sample deadlines.


• To help maintain stock of all laboratory consumables jars bottles etc.


• Qualification


• Graduate or studying toward a relevant qualification in a related science field will be an advantage
