Laboratory Specialist

As Laboratory Specialist you will support the operational business areas through a combination of destructive and non-destructive testing methods as well as chemical analysis to ensure conforming product throughout all stages of the build cycle.ResponsibilitiesCarry out mechanical testing methods (tensile, fatigue, sheer...).Perform material testing and special incoming testing's (hardness, electrical conductivity, spectroscopy and peeling).Support failure analysis in case of customer irritations.Support external laboratories qualification and observation.Perform chemical analysis (XRF, ICP, IC, FTIR...).RequirementsYou will have experience of materials and chemical analysis in an industry where process, safety & governance is highly scrutinised.Degree educated with a background in engineering would be preferred.Guidant Global (BH4SF) is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
