Key Responsibilities will include:
● Managing day to day relationships with an assigned roster of distributed independent labels
● Collaborating with labels, artists and the internal team to help create and execute release development plans and strategies
● Negotiating deals and set-up contracts with artists, label partners, distribution, etc.
● Working with the Director and Senior Artist Manager to create strategies and campaigns to develop the catalogue of assigned label roster
● Verifying audio, video, metadata and artwork in accordance with content guidelines and style guide conventions
● Scheduling releases and releases announcements
● Managing digital release set-ups in accordance with label and campaign specified needs
● PR & Marketing and Social Media and communication with publicists and Social Media Managers
● Distribution (digital & physical) – communication, statements, sales reports, accounting
● Licensing (compilation requests & sync)
● Neighbouring Rights administration
● Exploitation of back catalogue
● Negotiating deals, contracting and administration of sync requests
● Registration of new catalogue / music
The ideal candidate will have:
● A passion for the industry and excellent knowledge of Electronic Music and Dance Music culture
● Significant experience working with digital & physical distribution
● Great understanding of metadata requirements and digital operation
● Genre expertise across electronic music, specifically House and Techno
● Advanced organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise to tight deadlines, stay calm under pressure and hold oneself accountable to results
● Good understanding of Excel is preferable
● Experience using design programmes, including Photoshop and video creation/editing software
