�13.50 per hour

Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm, Friday - 7am to 12pm

Acorn by Synergie is working with a manufacturer of pest control products seeking a Lab Coordinator following recent growth within the business. This role is very hands on, working as one of the team, taking leadership duties. The first two months of the post will be based in the Treforest site for training purposes.

Job Duties:

* To work with and ensure effective communication with local site colleagues, particularly in relation to scheduling and quality.

* An understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment.

* Manufacture a variety of Pheromone lures.

* Prepare dosing solutions and pheromone blends as required for lure production, working from works orders issued by the scheduling manager.

* Liaise with the quality analyst to ensure quality standards are maintained on all lures and pheromones.

Key Requirements:

* Previous lab experience

* Ability to take responsibility and lead others

* Knowledge of Gas Chromatography equipment desirable

* Awareness & experience of modern improvement tools & techniques
