OVERVIEW: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSORAn opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Assessor to join their successful team.Based from home, you will be responsible for the delivery of Health & Social Care apprenticeships up to Level 5 (including functional skills) to a caseload of learners in your region. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Adult Health & Social Care sector ideally as a Residential Manager.You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and a Teaching Qualification. You will need to be flexible to travel to see learners in the workplace in the Dorset & Hampshire region, although much of the training can be delivered from home online. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSORTrain, assess, motivate and support Health & Social Care learners on programmes towards achieving Health & Social Care Apprenticeship qualifications, including Functional skillsMaximise the use of e-learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Health & Social Care training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
