Position Overview: The school are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher who can create engaging and interactive learning experiences for primary school students. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects within the Key Stage 2 curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and ensuring that each child receives a well-rounded education. The role involves developing creative and stimulating lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, encouraging curiosity, and building a solid foundation for future learning.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring a balanced and comprehensive education for students.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and motivated to learn.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, providing additional support and challenges where necessary.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents, and implementing appropriate interventions as required.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and enhance the overall learning experience for Key Stage 2 students.

  • Organize and participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities to support the holistic development of students.

  • Encourage a positive attitude towards learning, promoting independence, critical thinking, and a growth mindset among students.



Qualifications:




  • QTS (qualified teaching status)

  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, demonstrating a deep understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Enthusiasm for working with young learners and a passion for fostering a love for learning.

  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional well-being of students.
