Role Overview:

As a full-time KS2 Teacher, you'll lead and inspire a class of eager learners through their educational journey, fostering a love for learning and promoting academic excellence. With a comprehensive understanding of the UK curriculum, particularly in English and Maths, you'll deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of your students. Proficiency in ESOL or TEFL is highly advantageous, as you'll support children who may be English as an Additional Language (EAL) or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) learners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a vibrant KS2 classroom environment, delivering dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of your students.


• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to promote active participation and academic progress, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.


• Collaborate closely with colleagues to plan and deliver effective interventions and support for students requiring additional assistance.


• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and caregivers, maintaining open communication and involvement in students' educational journeys.


• Prepare students for SATS exams, providing targeted support and guidance to ensure readiness and confidence in achieving their best results.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience as a KS2 Teacher, with a genuine passion for inspiring and empowering young learners.


• Strong command of the UK curriculum, with expertise in English and Maths, and the ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.


• Certification in ESOL or TEFL is highly desirable, enhancing your ability to support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.


• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills, enabling you to effectively lead and manage a classroom environment.

Location and Hours:

Located in Finchley, our school offers modern facilities and a supportive learning environment where both students and staff thrive. This full-time position operates from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, providing ample opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.
