Position: SEN KS2 Teacher



Location: Wilmslow, Chesire East



Hours: 8:30am - 4pm�(Monday to Friday)



Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN KS2 Teacher to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working with children with special educational needs, an enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service), and the ability to teach a variety of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Plan, deliver, and assess a broad and balanced curriculum for KS2 students with special educational needs

  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Develop and adapt teaching materials to meet the individual needs of students

  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers

  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to enhance student learning and development

  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies



Requirements:




  • Minimum of one year of experience working in an SEN environment

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service)

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and experience in teaching a variety of subjects

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students with special educational needs
