EdEx is currently working alongside a fantastic Primary School in Newham who are highly regarded for its inclusive and whole child-focused approach to learning.

The school is looking for an equally fantastic KS2 Classroom Assistant to join their team and help inspire the next generation of learners. They are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic and has a passion and drive for education.

Within this role, you will be working closely with the lead teacher to support them in delivering the diverse curriculum, assisting them with preparing and handing out work materials through the class while working closely with the pupils in 1:1 and group support sessions to ensure learning is always accessible to the whole class.

KS2 Classroom Assistant role details:

• KS2 Classroom Assistant
• Working alongside the lead teacher to effectively deliver lessons to the pupils
• Leading small 1:1 and group intervention sessions with pupils to target and improve areas of academic weakness
• May involve working alongside pupils with SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
• ASAP Start - Full-time position
• �95 - �105 per day - Term time only
• Located within Newham

KS2 Classroom Assistant ideal applicant:

• Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels & GCSEs)
• Must have a passion for working alongside children and seeing them grow both academically and socially
• Previous experience working alongside children is desirable
• Must be a hard-working individual who can work well within a wider team
