KITCHEN PORTER / KITCHEN ASSISTANT�required for our prestigious clients; hotels located on the coast in the Kingsbridge area of Devon.

Shared live in is available. If you are a couple or have a friend seeking a role as a Chef de Partie, or front of house, there are also opportunities in housekeeping and food and beverage service.

As KITCHEN PORTER / KITCHEN ASSISTANT, you play a vital role in making sure the kitchen and all of the equipment is kept clean and ready for service.

The person we are looking for, will enjoy maintaining a clean working environment, being active and working with the Chefs to complete daily and weekly tasks. You will enjoy working as part of a team and always be looking for ways to help the smooth-running of the kitchen. You may even be considering a career as a Chef in the future. �

Job Description:

• Wash crockery, pots, pans & kitchen utensils


• Daily clean of kitchen areas and keeping refrigeration, freezers and stores clean


• Checking and putting deliveries away and reporting any shortages


• Report failing equipment to the Head Chef


• Be punctual, hard working and flexible


• Be a good team player and have excellent communication skills


• Adhere to all health and safety legislation

No experience is necessary for the role of KITCHEN PORTER, although it would of course be welcomed, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is most important.

As�KITCHEN PORTER�/ KITCHEN ASSISTANT, shift work will be involved working 5 days over 7.

The salary for this opportunity of�KITCHEN PORTER / KITCHEN ASSISTANT�is given as �11.44 to �11.50 / hr. This is either a live out role or this client is able to offer shared live in accommodation.
