Kitchen Assistant (4-week Temp Role)

Position: Kitchen Assistant

Contract Duration: 4 weeks, starting April 8th and ending May 10th, 2024

Pay Rate: �11.44 per hour

Payment Schedule: Weekly payment on Fridays for the previous week's work

Requirements: Enhanced DBS certificate, Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes.


2. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.


3. Support kitchen staff in various tasks, such as organizing inventory, receiving deliveries, and stocking supplies.


4. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.


5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation and timely service in the kitchen.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS certification is mandatory.


• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a kitchen environment is required.


• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.


• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.


• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings as required.
