Temporary Fixed Term Contract from 1st September#####4 until 31st Augus#####25. The post may be offered as a secondment opportunity for the right candidate, subject to appropriate approval from your own school. There may be potential to extend the contract, and/or convert the contract to a permanent role for a suitable candidate subject to future funding. Base: Deployment across all academies within the TrustLearning Accord Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a talented individual as a Kirklees and Calderdale Cluster Manager/Academy Improvement Officer.The Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust was established in Mar#####017. The Trust is an approved DFE sponsor and currently has 11 academies across Kirklees and Calderdale, including one sponsored Academy, (Calderdale), and a potential further sponsored academy and five pipeline converter schools to join the Trust. In addition, the Trust has a number of Associate Members working alongside our family of schools. Amongst our academies we have a team of talented, professional and caring teaching and support staff, committed local governing bodies and a skilled and proactive board of trustees. We place high emphasis on staff development and support and the successful applicant will join our supportive and growing central MAT team.As our Multi Academy Trust grows we are now looking to build further capacity through the development of leadership skills at all levels. I believe that this post offers an exciting and developmental opportunity for the right candidate who has exceptional leadership and management skills and a people focused, caring approach to school improvement.At the heart of this role will be the development of Kirklees and Calderdale Clusters, alongside day to day work with academies across the Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Director of Academy Improvement to drive the school improvement process; supporting leaders, teaching and support staff to secure improved outcomes for pupils. The successful candidate will play a significant part in shaping the future of the organisation and strengthening teaching and leadership. Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence and willingness to work with the whole school community; and the desire to become involved in all aspects of school life is essential.
As
Kirklees and Calderdale Cluster Manager/Academy Improvement Officer
, you will work and liaise closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Finance Officer, our Director of Academy Improvement and the Senior Leadership Team of the schools. The post holder will support teaching and learning, model best practice and further develop leadership at all levels within the school.
The ideal candidate may hold additional experience at middle or senior leadership level along with relevant training e.g. relevant NPQ Qualification, SLE, LLE etc. Knowledge and understanding of working within a Multi Academy Trust is desirable.
