Kickstart Junior ASP.NET Developer – Job Purpose:
The Junior ASP.NET Developer will manage and support our existing application and be responsible for designing new features, maintaining performance, and analysing requirements and functionality. Our platform is a multi-tenant SaaS application that is built using a modern ASP.NET Core WebAPI and React SPA stack:
– React.js – Redux, Sagas, SignalR, Swagger
– ASP.NET Core with WebAPI
– SignalR
– Entity Framework Core
– SQL Server / Elastic SQL
– Azure
– GitHub Actions CI
– Moq/NUnit Testing
– Local Development with Docker
– Azure DevOps
Kickstart Junior ASP.NET Developer – Duties & Responsibilities:
– Developing and maintaining a high-quality application
– Collaborating with other developers
– Improving functionality
– Using the most updated and appropriate technologies
– Designing and building new application layers
– Skills & Experience:
This role is open to both university graduates and school leavers who have development experience in any commercial environment.
Strong spoken, written and listening communication skills are a prerequisite for this role, coupled by a desire to learn and develop commercially orientated skills.
Kickstart Junior ASP.NET Developer – Requirements/Abilities:
– 2+ years experience within a commercial software development environment using ASP.NET
/ C# / HTML / JS / CSS
– Frontend development skills using React.js and associated frontend technologies such as Redux and Sagas
– Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap
– ASP.NET Core experience building WebAPI driven REST APIs
– Entity Framework Core/Full experience utilising SQL server
– Experience with web-based API integrations such as REST and SOAP
– Experience with IdentityServer4
– Experience with SignalR hubs on both the frontend and backend
– Experience with Git / GitHub / Git Flow utilising a PR review process
– Experience using project management tools such as Azure DevOps/JIRA/Kanban etc
