Key stage 4 Teacher/Tutor (SEN)

Dunbar Education Recruitment Agency is seeking a passionate and dedicated Keystage 4 Teacher/Tutor to join our team in Milton Keynes. This position involves teaching a small group of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) towards achieving functional skills qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the individual needs of SEN/ASC students.
• Utilise primary techniques and strategies to effectively teach secondary-level content, ensuring inclusivity for all learners.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to the academic and personal development of each student.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience working with SEN/ASC students, particularly in Keystage 4.
• Familiarity with functional skills qualifications preferred.
• UK teaching experience is essential.
• A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Full-time availability; part-time candidates will not be considered.
