Key Stage 2 teacher needed in Hazlemere

Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic teacher with experience in the Key Stage 2 curriculum. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading the classroom and fostering students' learning development. We are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate pupils daily

Role: Key Stage 2 Teacher

Location: Hazlemere

Start Date: September 2024

Responsibilities:

• Possess experience in teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum or have a strong understanding of it.
• Plan and lead daily classroom lessons, keeping pupils engaged through various teaching styles.
• Monitor pupil progress and develop plans to help them advance and achieve higher goals.
• Create an environment that encourages independent thinking among pupils.
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic and imaginative presentations, encouraging them to explore different ways of presenting their work.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaborating to support pupil learning and well-being.
• Assess pupil progress using various formative and summative assessment methods, providing timely feedback to both pupils and parents

Requirements:

• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Prior experience of working in the education sector or teaching key stage 2 curriculum
• Has a strong knowledge of the key stage 2 curriculum
• Able to keep the classroom encouraged and keep pupils enthusiastic about learning
• Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
• Has a passionate for teaching across the key stage 2 curriculum
• Able to commute to Hazlemere and the surrounding areas
