The School and Role

This ‘Good’ primary school, based in South Tyneside are looking to appoint a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to work in a class on a part-time basis. Previous experience of working within KS1 and an understanding of the KS1 phonics check would be advantageous to be able to support pupils and make good progress. This school is committed to creating a safe and caring environment where all children are celebrated for their individuality.

Requirements

The successful KS1 Teacher will have:

• Experience of working with primary school aged children.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
